I still don’t know how to feel about these books

I fear this may be the 81st book

Flipping back and forth between this and the Crawler series, would like to go to book club for once!

I consistently forget how helpful this book is

When your new ~friend~ asks you to read his favourite book, that he’s apparently gotten everyone to listen to whenever he is the designated driver LOL

I was very excited for this but I may just end up abandoning it lol

I actually think this is her strongest book since The Housemaid. Although I say that having only read that series as well as The Coworker, The Teacher, The Widow’s Husband’s Secret Lie, The Boyfriend, and The Crash.

Audiobook because YA fantasy isn’t totally my thing haha

Amber is a fragrance accord which contains many notes like - usually - vanilla, benzoin, labdanum. Sometimes patchouli. Amber smells a bit like vanilla, but deeper and darker, sharper, with a certain resinous smokiness, sometimes a bit medicinal. Sometimes it is powdery, a bit makeup like. Not every amber is the same. You can find it in like 95% of perfumes.

Returning this to the library, I couldn’t stomach forcefully finishing it. I’ll probably finish it at some point.
