Can anyone tell me why this man is alive ? Everything is “black” and without meaning to him. The people around him is stupid and ugly. God this is exhausting.

I’m beginning to see the point of this book. I’m not suppose to like this person. My mistake. Karl Ove has yet again sucked me in with his writing and I just have to know, where this is leading.

This going to be a hard one to read. God I hate the protagonist so so much. I don’t know if I can continue.

It’s been 11 months since I put down this book, bc my brain just couldn’t keep up with all the names and wars and places. But now we’re back and I’m really enjoying it.
It’s the last book in the series and I want to finished it. I love the main charaters and their banter and bickering.
