Yeah this book is definitely beginning to be one of my favorites.

Isaiah’s zeal for writing and how the author describes what it does for him is a similar feeling I have within myself. I connected with this. The beauty of educational debate is definitely a good highlight I’m coming to enjoy. I’ve always considered myself a scholar and this book definitely teases at that part of me, urging me to research and discover new things/words/phrases/history.

I really want to buy this book. It’s not too often that I collect leisure books in my ever-growing library, which makes this one a special read to me. Again, it cultivates all of the soft parts of my inner reader and I’m so appreciative of that. It’s like drinking an authentic, smooth coffee drink. Just the right temperature, flavor, amount of ice, and milky sweetness.

Very heart warming read. Softens and gently tugs at my inner reader and soothes parts of me I didn’t realize needed reprieve. I appreciate this book so far for what it is. Very imaginable and speaks volumes to historical aspects of Blackness. I’m excited to see everything unfold. Additionally, the author is a great writer, very easy to follow.

The steamy scene wasn’t all I was hoping for. It was a bit PG-13 for my liking. The plot and unfolding of Janneke’s journey with the others is still tantalizing and a true page-turner.

The relationship brewing between Soren and Janneke is a satisfying smolder. Also I’m so happy that this book has a black female heroine character. It’s a nice change.
