So far? This is a total ripoff of Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, one of my fave authors. I miss that series though so I'm going to continue. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I freaking love this book so far

Not enjoying the narrator for the audio version of this one at all. The man has such a deep voice that I need to have the volume all the way up and he keeps making me think of the guy from Rules of Engagement on TV.

The first two lines remind me badly of being pregnant. Since I also am being jabbed in my ribs.

It took me a second (listening to the audio) to connect some of the character stories, but once I did, this is such a good book! An adult (not YA! + TW for rape!) retelling of Rapunzel in the traditional Italian version of the story. It's so interesting how the 3 women's stories twine together.

OMG. If the "murder" is not done by the groom, I hope it IS the groom that's murdered at this point.

This is a very rough book to read via audio, I have to constantly check what day it is because the chapters go back and forth between 15 days time. I get confused about which things have already happened or not and I feel like there's a lot of repeated information. Still plugging through because I want to know if Tyler did it and Dad knows or is covering? Or if Daniel covered and Dad covered for Daniel? Or Daniel?

This book is just so cute! I expected something a little more substantial after reading The Hollow Places, but the dialog is just so cute here! Lol

This book is so good! A true mystery! I read a review that compared it to Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier and that has made me like this SO much more even!

This book.... I didn't realize at first that it was the second book to a series because my Libby app didn't warn me of that. However, It's so weird to be inside the mindset of this main character. I need to take breaks from it sometimes because I have a habit of becoming slightly like some of the characters from books that I read and this is not someone I want to identify with. I need to know how this ends though.
