Sound portion was a tough get through. Some cool stuff but it got drown in terminology.

Sound engineer. Just started his section but I’m not super vibing with it.

A blind woman. Interesting! “See has many definitions.” I liked that.

Doctor and Physical Therapist. Really good section! They could just look at people doing mundane things and diagnose them. CRAZY!

Public space guy. Slowing down is the point. Space should provide an environment where existing in it is encouraged. Good stuff.

Finished up animal guy’s section. Meh. Nothing real notable do want to revisit the idea of inattenional blindness.

Animal scientist guy. Haven’t seen too many animals to learn about. Lots of spots where they hang out though!

Finished the bug guys section. Very cool! The idea of “search images” was really interesting.

The illustrator’s section was interesting. She didn’t really observe things in a singular sense. It was more like a scene. She actually painted some of the things they saw and the paintings are included in the book which is neat.
She saw places and people not as objects or decorations but as more of an opportunity to explore and learn and possibilities for interaction.

Just finished the typographers section. Real dry.

On the typographers section and it’s soooo dry.

On the geologists walk and it’s surprisingly very interesting. Central Park was manufactured. The rocks have lines on them from glaciers moving across them! Very cool!
