Hmmn. This collection is about Magneto and Beast of recent. I appreciate the bit about Beast and his doppelganger who will have a significant role in the Age of Revelation.

Ok, the present consciousness of Cyclops and Beast have returned to their respective bodies. They later confront some Nazis lead by the Von Strucker twins. Then, the Crimson Commando appears and exchange barbs with Cyclops. Notable epilogue of this issue is the bit where the current normal Beast talks to the evil Beast who is the chairman of 3K.

So this evil Beast returns to the present and resumes his role as the 3K chairman before his subordinates would kill one another for the position. He explains his absence and his experiences in the AOR. He eliminates the current Schwarzschild whose future counterpart is supposedly going to be loyal to the AOR X-Men rebels. This evil Beast also mentions that he can recreate the X-virus to suit their evil ends.

We return to the present X-Men where we left off. Scott's future mind, the one that experienced the alternate future Age of Revelation, replaces his current self. He then proceeds to kill Doug/ Revelation to prevent AOR as planned. But the X-Men stop and incarcerate him. Later, Doug discreetly takes his leave along with his future wife Bei and Warlock, accepting his fate as Heir of Apocalypse.

Revelation had planned to spread the X-virus to transform normal humans into mutants. Then he pushed to assimilate all mutants including himself into Earth & become one living planet similar to Ego!
The minds of Cyclops & Beast return to the past to warn & stop this future. But it is revealed that the 3K chairman was really the mind purported to be the future Beast. This bit was confusing for me. 😬

Virta the Subtle (Elbecca Voss) is not so subtle. Revelation is aware she was a double agent of Apocalypse all along. They have a duel and he stabbed Elbecca to death. Before dying, she reveals she planted a portal on Cortez's body for Apocalypse to pass through. A final showdown is forthcoming with Apocalypse and Prof X entering the fray..

We find out that Elbecca, Revelation's newest Chorister, is actually Apocalypse's sleeper agent out to destroy Revelation! :-D She also discredits Cortez, the foremost Chorister, and turns the table on him.

Revelation has new Chorister. Elbecca replaces Talon who was killed by Glob in Overture. Revelation humiliates Death, one of Apocalypse's horsemen. Later, Fabian Cortez pushes Elbecca off the ledge. Then Kitty Pryde, the Ghist of Pittsburgh, rescues her.

We jump 10 years into an alternate future where Doug Ramsey, or Revelation, the Heir of Apocalypse has morphed into a despotic mutant ruler. We also discover that Cyclops' and Beast's younger consciousness are yanked back into their 10 years older selves by the mutant rebellion lead by Magneto...

In short, Doug Ramsey, calling himself Revelation and the Heir of Apocalypse, is the new Apocalypse! He is going to save all mutants at the expense of humans.

Here is a series that kicks off right into the nitty-gritty without so much exposition to develop the storyline, unlike the recent Krakoan Age or Age of Apocalypse. Zero hour begins at X-Men #22. Doug Ramsey, calling himself Revelation and the Heir of Apocalypse, joins Scott's X-Men, thereby triggering another apocalyptic future where mutants are at full-scale war with humans.

Cyclops is out of jail and returns to the X-Men. And then Doug Ramsey, or Revelation, Heir 9f Apocalypse arrives and joins the X-Men! The Age of Revelation story arc begins.

Meh. Nothing much happens here. The X-Men, in the absence of Cyclops, attack the Upstarts . Calm before the storm vibe. Next issue Doug Ramsey appears and kicks off the Age of Revelation event as advertised, I guess.

Meh. Nothing really happens here. Scott trade punches with Lundqvist and they both end up in jail talking. I love the art here though. 😬

Superman gives Spidey some pep talk after he was depressed about the recent death of Gwen Stacy then.

Jane Foster Thor meets Wonder Woman. Together they lead the fight against Darkseid and his Paravenoms. 🙂

Miles Morales meets Superman. Together they face Brainiac and Dormammu!

Spider Gwen or Ghost Spider meets Supergirl .

Steel vs. Hobgoblin! Then Thor appears to give aid. 😆

Superman plus Marvel & DC superheroes stop Mysterio and Saturn Queen from channeling the Hulk's rage onto the world. Ben Grimm figures in this tale.

Lana Lang meets Gwen Stacy!

It's 1938. Superman stops Spider-man Noir from assassinating Luthor and forces him to confess his crime so that J.J. Jameson's name would be cleared.

It's nice to see Aunt May meet the Kents. 🙂

Rogue's X-men must contend with Elsa Bloodstone's Legion of Monsters that includes Morbius the vampire, Werewolf by Night, Frankenstein's monters, etc.

Spidey and Superman find themselves in predicament apparently caused by Luthor and the Green Goblin. They are subject to a Krptonite bombardment so that Superman might be bonded with Venom (?)

Two stories interspersed together. One about the Outliers listening to Rawhide Kid comic book story. The other is about Gambit getting corrupted by the Left Eye of Agamotto like Frodo with the One Ring. Next, Elsa Bloodstone and some monsters show up and takes Jubilee hostge.

Mutina infiltrates Haven house and intimidates the X-Men during Nightcrawler's birthday bash. She is very cunning and formidable opponent proving she is not just another new fancy villain to be reckoned with.

Conclusion to the Wolverine and Ransom team up. Nothing special.

Team-up of Wolverine and Ransom. They head up to confront a cult that recruited Ranson's half-brother... It turns out their father is there too.
