Also with only 2 episodes out, the series adaptation is the most faithful book to screen transition I've seen in a while. Both very good indeed.

This book was already 5 stars but wow, it still manages to exceed expectations.

Have no idea why I've been putting off finishing this, think it's just been so good I don't want to rush it. Going to try to finish this as soon as I can.

So my favourite author wrote a book set in North Wales and I am homesick with the way he writes about its beauty and people. I am also really invested in the investigation, following testimonies of 3 characters the story revolves around.
