Simmons is such a frustrating writer, he'll write an absolutely fantastic Blankey chapter, literally perfect, then follow it up with the most absurd Irving chapter.

I am enjoying this more than I thought though, there is genius in this that the show broadens and tidies up.

I am still wondering what the hell is going on!

The chokehold this book has on me. I had to abandon my annotating because I was so locked in and wanted no interruptions.

Having the audiobook play in the background as I do stuff. Hoping to finally get this done soon.

Also with only 2 episodes out, the series adaptation is the most faithful book to screen transition I've seen in a while. Both very good indeed.

This is very sloooow, think I know what the ending is though, wonder if I am patient enough to see if I am right. 🤔
