Reading this for book club (which is tomorrow 😬)

But why is the writing style so choppy

Casey McQuiston’s writing is so good I think I can try to ignore how uncomfortable second chance romances usually leave me feeling

ok I’m loving this so far

This book is making me sick. But also I wouldn’t call any of the misogyny described in here as new

This book is making me anxious

ok halfway through and I feel I can confidently say THIS is the slow burn stalking romance I’ve been looking for. and for being a stalking situation with real stakes, it’s not too dark, which I like

Really loving this so far; I’m a sucker for a stalker rom com and it’s still early in the book but it’s delivering

just ragebaited myself by reading a review and comments that the book was “too woke” bc a character is nonbinary and bc the (sex worker) FMC cares about rights for sex workers

MEANWHILE I get so excited every time I read a book with nonbinary and trans characters, and it’s a relief when the characters stand for something

Reading for book club and I am not loving it

Should come with a trigger warning for graphic domestic violence

Bleak.

Listening to the audiobook

I am going to try to read this now against my better judgment. Wish me luck

I have been told this gets funny and lighter and I’m curious how the tone shift works with the beginning
