Update: I think I'm following at least part of what's happening now.

I am almost 200 pages in and I honestly have no idea what’s going on about half of the time. I may need to make a sort of character chart to figure out who all the players are.

It's been a while since I picked up Dostoevsky, but this felt like the right time to pick up this book.

let's see if this book is short enough for me to actually have the motivation to finish it.

So far, interesting but I have mixed feelings.

I do just really love this story--its message rings true every year, and is honestly a helpful reminder that the problems we deal with (re. poverty and wealth, greed and corruption) have been problems for a very long time.

Took a break and am coming back to this after a while. Still incredible in so many ways.
