Entirely TOO much talking between the two of them and too much overexplaining everything that the characters are thinking. The fact that they're always talking in circles is super annoying. And the author voice needs so much work. I feel like I'm reading fanfiction a lot of the time. And I don't think the author knows much about kink or dominants/submissives at all. Which makes this hard to stomach 95% of the time.

Two great characters overshadowed by the grandparents and its so fucking annoying.

Alexander explains things through dialogue instead of showing it through action and it's so annoying. Every important thing is told through dialogue after the fact instead of just showing the reader the scenes. And then the characters tell all of their feelings through dialogue instead of just showing what the characters feel. It's so annoying.

Wow. This coming out drama is SO annoying. To center a plot around something so inconsequential makes me not want to finish this.

Not enough internal conflict, once again...

Chapter 13 was just too much for me.

I really want to like this book but this author is so pretentious...

I think this book was written for people who enjoy the bible and need to be told a bible like story in order to heed the advice on money. And I do not like the bible, so I didn't enjoy this book at all. The only interesting part about this book was the beginning history lesson on Babylon.

Not really loving the way this book is written. The storytelling is just boring and the voice is unnecessary.

So wordy. Not everything is relevant information but has some really good conclusions that I find useful.
