So far it is an enjoyable explanation of the foundations of modern judaism. Seems to be coming at it from one perspective, that of the Jewish author who I have read is Orthodox. But he seems to be attempting to present the full range of Judaistic interpretations.

Bought at the used bookstore in Mahtowa along with a stack of classics mixed with some lesser knowns (to me).

Gibbie just was caught after frightening the whole neighborhood by his late night charity work (completing people’s work unbeknownst to them). Dragged roughly to the very house that his ancestors were cast out of.

Just got the hang of clawhammer. Now working on picking roll patterns. Great book but I am glad I started with youtube 30 day clawhammer challenge. Now all the written descriptions make sense.

Chapter 21: Is liberalism Jewish?
Very well written. The conclusion: “If liberal Jews devoted their abilities, efforts, and passions to Judaism and ethical monotheism as they now do to liberalism, Jews would change America and the world. Indeed, only then would Jews help produce the very type of beautiful world that liberals want.”

Prager makes a great argument as to why this is so.

So great! I feel masterful of these basics after just a day (all day).

I swear this book was written yesterday and published this morning.

The 2nd law of thermodynamics, irreducible complexity, DNA and the calculations of how probable it is that it could have arisen by chance, the secrets of metabolism, paradigms and presuppositions, and Creator God. Everything about this book is my favorite.
