I really want to read this, but god… it is so painful to relive :(

a really crazy drinking game would be to take a shot every time this guy says “invariably.”

This was recommended reading for my grad school program and though I was skeptical before starting it, tbh so far it kinda slaps. My big takeaway so far is that libertarian capitalism, associated with earlier forms of democracy, is incompatible with advanced democracies/will always result in citizen dissatisfaction and unrest.
