"It would be more appropriate to play Brymo or Lorde, something solemn or yearning, rather than the musical equivalent of a packet of M&MS."
I love one narrator.

I love everything this book chooses to be, from baked potato recipes followed by anti-sexism rants to rich descriptions of food that make me crave bread at midnight.

I am in love with several things:
- Sophie
- the tongue in cheek narrative
- the Apes
- the hilarity of some scenes and how they have an air of the Marx brothers to them
- Sybil the pig

"We've discovered a method to preserve our adolescence, more or less. We'll only get old as a last resort. We'll let you in on our secret."
"Great," Carole smiled. "I'll never be sad."
"Yes," I said, "you have to be sad. Enormously. Otherwise you'll be old before you know it."

SIGH, French depression song. This style is making me old.

It isn't an ID that defines a writer, but what he has written!

"What's the matter, don't you like my poetry?" asked Ivan with curiosity.
"Emphatically not."
"And what have you read?"
"I haven't read any of your poetry!"

the Master is me.

I am loving the style of this book, it's like an episode of Leverage, only with unicorns and talking hammers.

Paula Geanau is reading A Dirty Job (Grim Reaper, #1)
Dropped this like it's not hot after I started to smell the misogynistic jokes, the "haha oh look a prostitute!!" jokes, and got tired of Tucker's personality (read: two pages in).

I feel like a better person for having not wasted my time with this boob jokes filled passable book for bruhs who read books. Okay, bye.
