Note to author: The phrase is "No kidding." Really. No kidding, it is. Without the misplaced comma your editor consistently missed: "No, kidding." No. I'm not kidding. A mass search/replace should take care of the jillion occasions of the incorrectly punctuated phrase. No kidding. Each time I've run across this phrase it's snapped me right out of the story. No. Just ... no to "No, kidding." Seriously.
