Seventy pages of boring introspection. I've never set down a work by SK unfinished, but...

Enjoyable read but awfully implausible so far.

Fourteen percent in, there have been 11 different references of the main character crying. I get it- she's a cryer.

I've enjoyed this series up to this point, but it's getting a bit ridiculous. The hero and his Strippper With aHeart of Gold sidekick standing side-by-side, blasting zombies with every shot while protecting the fleeing military members. The stripper, who only strips to work her way through med school, spent a day on the firing range, see. So she's a crack shot.

My dislike For Meredith can be encapsulated by one scene. Saturday, January 16, is three paragraphs. Meredith gives the reader two 'I don't care's, one complaint about being bored because she's not killing anything, a 'big deal', and two sarcastic asides. Zombies- please eat Meredith so someone else takes over the journal. Thank you.

I don't know if I can finish this book. It's well written, if a little draggy, but there is a major problem with the presentation of black people.

A third of the book is centered around a black motorcycle gang, and their dialogue is written in a clownish, black face dialect. Its highly offensive.

I just finished The Enigma Strain (Harvey Bennett Thrillers Book 1) and gave it 4 stars.

fun, screaming fast read so far. If it continues like this I'm relly going to enjoy this series.
