I wanted to read this after watching a documentary on Kathy Kohner. The premise is trail blazing. Written in first person and an inside glimpse of the origins of surf culture in the 50's, it can almost be deemed the first best-seller YA novella. I'm lovin' the lingo and love story. Moondoggie's cute.
