This is a new-to-me author but I’ve been absolutely charmed by the graphics in one of my reader groups while she was promoting this book. Plus, Reverse Tarzan RH sounds like my perfect kind of kryptonite. I hope it’s amazing. 🤞🏼

Did I jerk awake at 4:30AM to load this bad boy up? YEP! I have to check in on Goblin and the guys because the ending to Lure was kinda mean. I have been counting down the days to this book.

When your characters can’t piece together in 3 books what I did in one and we have all the same clues, I get really annoyed and think they’re really, really dumb. I get allowing grace and room for a plot to grow, but if all that is hindered by your characters’ ability to buy a clue (especially when some have & don’t share with the class), I’m bored waiting for them to catch up to me. /mini rant"

Reading this while having the flu was a TERRIBLE idea. I already feel like shit, and now I’m sobbing which is intensifying my headache and stuffy nose. My heart. :(

I’m trying to keep in mind that she’s 16 (and I’m 36), but this FMC is rankling my nerves. She’s only reinforcing the stereotypes people believe about her and not taking school (which *she* wanted) seriously. Like, cut the coffee, get some damn sleep, and do the work! Let your flaky mom’s people handle her bender.

It was absolutely everything I wanted for them— the gritty determination in the tough moments and the easy jubilation of what their happy ever after could look like in a snapshot. I got so hopeful and emotional about their conclusion. It was imperfectly perfectly them.

I am so so so ready for the Princes and their Princess now. This Monarch pack is going to be wild.

Lulz at Ashby’s Powerpuff Boys knowing the Princes are up next.

I swear Sam and Angel have a way of describing their Forsyth men that makes me want to lick my damn kindle just for a hint of that deliciousness. Fucking edible descriptors.

Jesus, this ragtag group of emotionally stunted assholes are a whole ass mess. I’m not sure my own fucked mental health can continue with this trajectory of emotional repression and lack of communication between them. They’ve got us all spiraling at this point.

Whew, when characters in books make dumb decisions in tense situations!!! I’m about 3 seconds from a tantrum and tossing my kindle. The sad thing is I can’t even get annoyed with the author because people really do do this dumb shit IRL. *punches the air*

Always super eager for more of Bri’s words, but I’m especially excited to meet a new family (5 brothers and 1 sister!!!) and learn to love a new small town. More so after the tease of it with Havenbrook’s Drew in Stranded in Starlight Cove.

It’s a bit different from my current reading tastes (back to MF), but I’m always guaranteed delicious levels of spice and dirty-talking heroes when it comes to her.

I don’t think a book has EVER broken me the way this last 20-ish% has. I’m a snotty, sobbing, broken mess. Jesus.

I have legit been sobbing for 30 minutes. I don’t think I’ve ever been so thoroughly wrecked by a book this bad before.

It’s dumb how fucking hard I’m sobbing right now. GUTTED.

Whew, child, this hero was OTT JP crazypants, borderline psycho… and I’m undecided about how much I liked it… and a whole lot conflicted about my feelings of liking it…if I did. #SelfReflection

Even if it Hurts - 4 stars! That was sort of crazypants, but I kind of dug it.
