I’ve started the audiobook and it’s fabulous. Love listening while I work and crochet

So, so, so good. I don’t want it to end

I want this book to go on forever

A little long so it sags in places but the writing is great

So far it’s kept my attention with some of the most gorgeous writing I’ve read in a while but I feel like it should end soon and I’m only halfway done

the MC won’t shut up about how terrible her life is and how much she envies anyone with a little more money or education. she’s completely blind to the good things in her life— her beautiful kids, the roof over her head, the ability to work and her good health and well being. not that she should suck it up and be grateful, but she has opportunities to make changes and repeatedly shuts them down. infuriating

I need this book to end so I stop feeling so sad about the death of everything and everyone in it and in my own life

I love it, such a sick concept

Shocked at how quickly it pulled me in, I had a lot of doubts. But I can’t resist a beauty and the beast retelling.

Impossible to put down, completely original, unlike anything I’ve ever read in the best possible way.

Very cute and cozy, though the characters feel a little stiff and stilted.

lost me a little but only because I liked murmur of bees better

a little long and dragging in places, especially talking about land reform. it reminds me of that one chapter in anna karenina where it’s just levin talking about grass.

I read a spoiler before I started this but I’m still curious to see how it plays out. So far none of the characters are very likable, so they feel more real.

Amazingly well-written, and inspiring to read about these incredible women.
