Really interesting concept. Provacative. This is the kind of book that makes me dog-ear pages and really makes you think about my life and my priorities.

Loved learning about this Christian comedian. Laugh-out loud funny, but with some poignant moments as well.

Interesting book! Loved the different voices reading. Nice surprises at the end.

This book reminds me to think of the impact I have on others and how my life journey has been affected by others. There is joy and sadness, love found and love lost and the idea of how much do we want to follow our dreams. I felt there was was unresolved issues at the end with characters, situation, and even the setting at the end.

Easy read, good for summer. A bit of repetition of the characters’ situation.

Haven’t read anything like this for awhile. Interesting themes of dark vs light and a chosen one. Even though this contains magic and magical characters, there are some parallels to a Christian perspective. There are some hard parts to get through because of the pandemic and some horrible deaths from some not-so-great characters, but there are also some positive human displays of kindness, courage, etc.

Excellent! I read this as a pick from someone in our book club, and I thought it was going to be silly. It was such a great read with a good depth of characters.
