I used the mobile version of GR on my phone to update my currently reading & review of the last book & it was an awful experience I'm not looking forward to the "experimental" features on the website going live if it's as bad as the mobile site & I did enable them some time ago, to see and it's was an appalling bad experience.

I have an irrational hatred of books described as

"cosy"

I really appreciate books like this one about the built environment. I often wish I had worked in the architecture field so reading things like this is a joyful thing for me.
The approach from a burglar point of view is fascinating, I've already learned a lot.
I can recommend this book to the curious reader.

I'm a little bored by the idea royalty, princes or other nobles would lift a finger to help anyone other than themselves. I live in a monarchy & none of them are worth pissing on. They don't use their wealth or influence to make the country better. So fictional royal characters are so out of what's even barley credible

The writing feels very chaotic so much jumping from location to location within a few paragraphs then back again. I think yet again a decent editor would have helped.
Why do so many authors no use editors or use very cheap ones?

Hard going but interesting yet familiar as it's so widely published info. Still god to read it directly from him rather than some lazy state owned BBC news reports

I'm not learning anything new in this book, yet. Most of it has been all over the net before. I guess I'm late reading it.

There should be a status like currently reading but more I'm dipping in.
For me reading is a lot about my mood & dyslexia. I could sit n read Rob walkers the art of noticing as fast as possible but it's not that kind of book it's meant to be once exercise at a time. But bios I'm forced to dip in & out its like my brain is fighting me. Snowden has a lot of pages to skip but a has lot of information.

I'm really struggling to find a book.. I've started 8 so far discarded them as I wasn't in the mood for the Snowden bio, the detective book didn't geip me and non of the scifi are eather. Maybe I'm just missing cafe's my usual reading spots.

My kindle was on airplane mode so when I searched fallen came up instead of forged it took several chapters until I realised my mistake! Doh..
I lost a day but still hope to Finnish by 31st. To get to my most books ever read in a year 87. (some were short)
