Brutal, simple, tear inducing

I switched to the audiobook version of this and it’s going much better. It’s narrated by the guy who was the voice of Gollum and he does a great job. First time I’ve enjoyed an audiobook.

Just finished the Kurukshetra battle. What an emotional death for Bhisma and Drona. Bhisma dying on the bed of arrows, Arjuna shooting the last three arrows to support Bhisma's head. Duryodhana's smashed thighs. Also, these guys were NOT concise let me tell you.

Honestly pretty good. Draupadi’s humiliation after Yudhisthira lost the first gambling match was gut wrenching.

honestly this slaps. i like Act I of Hamlet much better than Act I of Macbeth

The main character is obtuse and helpless and I don’t like her. Why do people write ignorant women?
