I’m immersive reading this not tandem lol

I really am liking reading this as a tandem read. It helps to focus and not let my mind wander.

I listened to quicksilver on 1.75-2x speed to refresh my memory. Restarting the very little bit I had read of brimstone the other day and attempting a tandem read.

What could she possibly be hiding that would be worse than the situation he put her in?

A lot of it seems repetitive. Just a girl being tortured and how she’s barely surviving. Yes now there’s someone else too and hope is on the horizon but it’s not a lot of story. These things actually happen which is the worst part. Things like these aren’t meant to be a good story but this one is fictional so I thought there may be something else I guess. Reading fast but repetitive nonetheless.

Reminds me of verity. Things happening that only one person notices. Out to get the one person. Making them think they are going crazy.

This is a nice change of pace book.

I read the perfect marriage also but it has been a while. This book still makes sense without the perfect marriage but I do wish I had reread it just to refresh my memory more.

I really am not into this right now and want to DNF it

Love forming in odd ways

This book has perspective from Kitt and from Mara aka death. It is interesting to see different perspectives in this storyline and especially interesting to learn about death
