End of day 5 thoughts...
The beginning felt weirdly like a massive goodbye? Which like yeah this is the last tome of the series but I don't want to start with a sappy goodbye before launching into a massive adventure that I know will have to end with another goodbye. But beyond that, this book is in fact incredible (minus the boring war parts) and I love the weirdo (said with love) trio, they each have my heart

This has less hiking than I thought it would for a book about hiking... still juicy though

I'm getting whiplash from this... she keeps having these extensive flashbacks to god knows when in her life without warning and then pages and pages later she'll flash back without warning... but it is juicy

What this book has in magnitude it loses in depth... over and over
