This is particularly interesting after just watching Jim Henson’s 1969 film The Cube, in which a man is trapped in an empty room, but continually bothered by people and the absurdities that come through.

Reading this for a summer PD.

Bizarre and gross. Don’t read if you’re easily grossed out and don’t like loose ends. There is no explanation to anything in this book.

Holy shit. This was written in the 70’s and things have only gotten more corrupted in the past 50 years. 😳

Reading this because the kiddo wanted me to. It’s pretty good, actually!

This series is really pulling me in. So good!

This book is so hard to read, not because of horror elements. But because of the devastation to this poor human being. It’s the saddest story.

So Tomie is supposed to be this monster who drives men to murder her over and over again. And like, yeah she’s mean and cruel and haunts everyone, but not sure how I feel about this trope. Is it misogynist? They all blame Tomie for their behavior…..

I am absolutely into this series now. Totally doesn’t seem like my thing, but I love the characters, and it’s so emotional.
