I’m reading from an original printing from 1907. This book came with a pile of old books from my mother, so this copy must have been a book my grandmother or great grandparents read as children.

I love this book so far. I can't put it down - it is fascinating!

This book looks like it will be an invaluable resource as I plan to feed my baby. My mother said she read this book when she had me and my siblings!

Depressing so far. It is so rude. I don't understand why it is supposed to be funny. It is an easy page turning read so far though.

During our wedding, many guests came up to us and told us how difficult and basically how awful marriage would be. Our marriage has been wonderful and easy so far, but I decided to read one of the self help books, now that we have had our one year anniversary. This was a book a guest gave us... maybe by reading it I will avoid the misery promised to us by many married couples. I'm reading it to prevent misery!

This will be the third time I've read this. It is a much easier read for me now, so well see if I like it any better this go around.

I cannot wait to start! Barbara Kingsolver is my favorite author and thinker of this time. I love her!

I'm learning much about Tubman & this time. This book was a long overdue read for an American who's family has been in NC for generations.
