not so much finished as: i give up. i wasn't sure this was ever going to get interesting so i stopped reading at the point that the parents arrive. i thought something might eventually happen, but unless this is memoir, the lack of action was tough to get through. and so, i didn't. DNF.

DNF. Whoever said it’s GREAT GATSBY meets Ozark is dead wrong though sucked me in. Gave up around pg 202 when things went off the rails. First half hooked me, but…

One of those literary phenomenons that didn’t live up to its hype for me. I found two key plot points with no climax or closure. A well-done example of second person POV which is rare and hard to pull off in a novel, albeit a short one. Eager to go back and *gasp* watch the movie because I think I liked it better. *Double gasp.*
