Immediately hate the writing style of this -_-

For how short the book is, the characters are veryy well written, loving all their different personalities. Favorites so far are Hannah and Theo :)

Ngl Otto is goooood, his revenge plots are pure evil- especially coming from someone his age! A little friggin terror !

Ladyyyyy he is 8 and you are grabbing a knife for defense!!!! Maybe just leave the hotel instead of contemplating murdering an 8 y/o or sabotaging their lives so they leave- Maggie JUST LEAVEEE for gods sake lol

This 8 year old & this 80 year old are BOTH disturbed! First the lady gets the cat to kill the birds, then the kid kills the cat, now she's killing a random's dog bc the kid tried to poison her. A very dangerous game of tit-for-tat. They can totally leave the animals out of it. The kid is a kid sooo like he's got an excuse- Maggie on the other hand...her old ass needs jail !

Prediction: Joyce let the boys camp in the yard, even though there was a man walking around the neighborhood at night- she wasnt worried bc she knows the man- the neighbor Fritz- she's having an affair w him, has something to do with her being fired from her job.

I like the book, just have no motivation to pick it up or read more than 1 chapter over the course of a few days..Really excited to finish. i think the journey just dragged a little, even tho the book is pretty short, idk why its dragging for me so much. idk. Possibly just not in the mood for fantasy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Things are getting rlllllllyyyy good, my only concern is that its very clear the mom knows abt Pupkin, esp how protective she is w him, like she's deff aware of the chaos he creates- whyyyyy give it to your children?! Louise had it when she was like 5!

Things are getting a bit more serious w/ Mark recounting his time in college, the puppet possession thing is a little spooky :) I like that I'm questioning if it's actually supernatural or a bunch of nerds just playing pretend rlly hard
