I am now at the part where Anja and Vladek are hiding amongst the Germans. It is a quite suspenseful part because Anja and Vladek are constantly in fear of being found by some German Nazis. I think Maus is a really good book about the Holocaust. The details are so real and raw, and you can feel how the Jews felt at that point of time. Sometimes I am brought to fear as well. I am enjoying this so far.

A change of fortune that happened to Katniss was when she won the Hunger Games and she got rich and it was better for her family and herself. It really changed their life because before Katniss won, they were starving and they're house was very small. After she won, they were eating, healthy and they got to live in the victor's village where the houses were good quality.

Katniss had a change of heart when she decided to agree to be the Mockingjay. At first, she thought she couldn't be the Mockingjay because she didn't think she was empowering enough to change people's minds and get people to rebel with her. And she was afraid the rebels would execute him as a traitor. But after Prim convinced her that she could do alot to change the people's minds, she agreed to be the Mockingjay.

Now I'm at the part where Katniss wants to start an uprising and personally, I feel like she should be the leader because alot of people support her and she can move people into being apart of the uprising. Like when she went to District 11 to talk about Rue, many people supported her during that part.

Currently, Lia's mother is asking her to move back in during dinner. To me, that foreshadows that Lia might refuse because she doesn't like her mother so much and right now I think they're gonna fight again.

Right now, I'm at the part where Lia has to go spend a night at her mother's place. I think that's the books conflict or it leads to the conflict because she really doesn't like her mom and they always fight. I think that the mother might make problems worse because she wants Lia to move back in.

So far, this book is really depressing. It's sad enough that Cassie died, but it's even sadder when Lia talks about her issues and what she's dealing with.

This book so far is pretty amazing. And I really get interested whenever he says "Boy, that depressed me." just because before he says that, he usually describes what he feels, thinks and sees. And those are usually what form strong images in my head. Like when he was talking to Phoebe and when she told him to say one thing that he really liked and he talked about James Castle and everything. I could see it clearly.

On page 103 and 104, when Holden gets beaten up was a really strong image in my opinion. He explained what he looked like and what he felt really well and I could just imagine that part as a really dramatic scene. In my head, he was all bruised up and bloody. But yes, I think that was one of the strong images.
