Pacing feels a little off to me, but still loving ❤️

I’m an official Sanderson fan girl…

Am I the only one kind of hoping Alex turns out to be a bad guy because otherwise he's just another used and abused childhood friend who doesn't get the girl trope because his brother/friend/etc. is just so much sexier, mean, etc.? The literal only thing going through my mind right now is how bad I feel for this poor guy...

Just really wanted to read an easy romantasy, hoping this fits the bill! I do love a good duology, so I'm really hoping this series will track~

There are already aspects of this book I’m really bought into, the romance is cute and the writing is nice ~ but I do have the main complaint so far of this afterlife world being TOO vague, the descriptions and explanations are TOO muddied, beyond the inherent expectation surrounding a naturally unknown topic

Getting started on this friend rec!

This book is more enigmatic than I initially thought. I knew it would be a tough read for its published age lends itself to Shakespearean reading challenges before translation…but I digress. I know this is an important read for its history, but boy if it isn’t a bit tough to chew on…will she make it to the end may be the question of this entire read 🫠

I’ve never been one for politics in the past, but I’m actually really enjoying all the intrigue and machinations of the kingdom building here - excited to read more!

Started this a few days ago and absolutely loving it - in my opinion, this man’s name being amongst Rowling or Tolkien makes a lot of sense…brilliant

Pretty strong 4 star for me at this point, could easily move back in to 5 star range depending on how the book concludes!

The page count is just a rough estimate, but I will be DNFing at this point...full review to follow!

This book is definitely strange but also really engaging, definitely interested in where this goes…

I read this series a long time ago, and I don’t remember much of it, so it’s nice to finally have the physical copies to be able to give ratings, review here, and all that jazz~ here’s to starting the finale!

That was wild...I haven't ravaged a book like that in a loooooooong time...And yes. I definitely stayed up way too late.
