‘STD as a penalty for promiscuity…’ hmm. Not sure this book has aged well. It seems very old school and archaic in some of the views it presents.

A bit exhausted by Lina’s porcupine-like behaviour

Wasn’t Grant County meant to be peaceful backwaters? The number of deaths and random attacks on innocent passersby is soaring from one vol in this series to another;)

Enjoying the suspense. Didn’t read the previous books in the series but it doesnt seem problematic. Good crime

An incredibly slow and boring beginning… will the hero starts being a tiny bit interesting??

If she says Mr Sinclair again I will have a heart attack. Can’t stand the person reading the book on audible

Well written like all O’Sullivan’s books but while coming from a good place I find the approach paternalistic. Yes, nocebo is a fact, but most people need a diagnosis to get government support. People also want to understand what’s behind troubling symptoms and a diagnosis may reduce their anxiety. Ultimately I am not sure what the book tries to achieve.

Heartbreaking

Rainbow - terrifying!

Like vol 1 it’s slow and at this point I am not sure about it but it is easy and relaxing.

Slow but pleasant

I hope it will hook me soon, because for now I find it dreary

Trying to read slowly as the next book will be published next year. Less Donna and Bogdan but plenty of Joyce, Ron, Ibrahim and Elizabeth is back in form

Incredibly powerful

A slow start but a well constructed plot which I expect will thicken

Cant put it down!

Hard to get in and I’m still confused by the countless characters and who they are

Hard to put down!

Wow! So exciting.

Funny at times but mostly self-indulgent and tedious. Hard to find a book where a woman is so completely reliant on a man for self-worth

Am struggling with it but will keep trying

Funny though at times the humour feels a bit forced
