I'm listening to the audiobook version, and the well -placed quippy dialogue is hilarious. Catches me off guard but surprisingly apt in context. So far an easy read with a light-hearted plot.

Listening to the audiobook version. I keep trying to guess the supernatural explanation of the Starling history/present, and although I have a few theories, nothing solid yet. Story themes so far remind me of: Rose Red, American Gods, and a twinkling of Locke & Key.
