Again, there is some good advice in this chapter. Know the target crowd, themes, and some ideas for the menu. However, the more he covers attire, the creepier it is. It is mostly gender neutral but when it's not, it is specific about femme attire. Hooters never appealed to me but now I am creeped out that their attire is regulated down to the bra style.

I do not care what president we are talking about, health is a consern. Trump and Biden both seem to have some cognitive decline. The shift to the right with the recent elections can be explained by low information voters. Many claim to be socially liberal but fiscally conservative. That ends up hurting the social. Oh, and critical race theory is college level. It's not in grade school.

So far this is the best chapter. It focuses on who to hire and how to teach them the job. He does not like the 'we're family' dynamic, preferring something akin to a sports team. Applied to the bar industry and front of house staff, I can see this working rather well. My concern would be someone outside his focus applying this to their industry.

He complains about statue removal and seems to have a very one dimensional view of the people. Comparing BLM to Jan 6ers shows how little depth his apporach has.

On one hand, the idea of social transactions and how they impact a business is a useful practice. Create a positive experience in order to have repeat customers. However, his examples...Disney is so brand focused it strips workers of individuality. Two of the others mentioned are Playboy and Hooters. Can there be a positive example that does not objectify their workers? Workers are not his focus.

More sucking up to Trump. Jessie Smolette? Is that the only example you can think of? He was irresponsible for faking a hate crime. He should not have done that. However, is this the only example? I think that speaks to how little it's faked. That was followed by buzz words about woke.

The small portion on 'uncivil outbursts' and 'there's nothing wrong with using manipulation to help your business' leaves me wondering about what it's like to work under him. I dno not think he has the interests of whoever is working for him in mind, just his bottom line and the customer. Somewhat expected but people are not robots.

For a jounalist, he does not like to source anything. Insert som trans panic. Piers, don't talk about furries. You obviously nkow less than me and I don't touch that kink. A nice little appeal to common sense. So Harris was a DEI VP candidate? I do not like her but she was more qualified than Trump when he first ran. DEI can get stellar people into positions...instead of meh white dudes.

Some details make sense, others do not. I do not understand the military level of specificity for ear rings.

Starting out on a low note. Trump's re-election is the sign that woke, Me too, BLM, and cancel culture is dead. No definitions yet. Pretty sure SA still happens. BLM has work to do. Amusingly, I'm seeing cancel culture more from the right currently. Let's see how this turns out...

Surprised he didn't mention Soros sooner... So little understanding of the things he argues against. Most lefties think there should be no billionaires. I don't like the Kochs or Soros. However, nice dog whistle.

Candice Owens, intentionally or not, has as little understanding of history as you do. Holdering her up as the black femme conservative does not help you.
