Love how you only bring up a violent example of mental illness. You are right, it's not a get out of jail free card. However, it is something to take into account and adjust to. Treating someone with any disorder as someone 'normal' does not make things better. Ignoring it can make it worse.

I find it amusing that you bring up boundries. I imagine you expected them to respect yours but you don't respect theirs. That's not 'wokism,' whatever that is. Some kids might go no contact for first world reasons. However, it is unlikely that's the main reason. Stating this just confirms this for your intended audience.

Sounds like you don't understand what those commentors meant. A single mom can physically provide for her children but other areas may be lacking. That's not her fault. There are more than physical needs and it sounds like you may have been neglecting those

Passing phase? I think that's a fawn response. That does not speak well of your behavior. Compunded by he acusation you deny later in the chapter. Your daughter was trying to help you understand her. You ignoring her probably helped lead to you being estranged.

I don't think you understand psychology and contributing it to a creator isn't helping. So now we have another example. If that is how it turned out, you might have a point. However, this book seems rather disconnected with psychology, current economic trends, and with any child.

There are multiple sides to every story. I don't think you read the first article you referenced well. This is the first time I am hearing about there being encouragment to treat kids like peers. I have heard and agree that once a child is an adult that they should be treated as such. Love tossing around woke like it's an insult. Lastly, I do not care what your diety says about child care.

Withdrawing your blessing makes it sound like your love is conditinal. Bringing the Bilbe and forgiveness into this also seems intentional. How much of that book was used to justify many decisions?

Sounds like you have excluded her from some conversations. As for the trip to Australia of it all, I'm guessing it was always her coming to you

A bed, food, and shelter are the minimum. More excluded context. This is already a book that seems like it will only resonate with those who agree...

Much of this story is already one sided. Did you rise to the occation for her or yourself? Also, was it the daughter's choice to leave the documents? Is this daughter the oldest?
