It’s annoying that this kindle compiled edition didn’t put Assasins Blade in the correct order of release as this would have actually helped me care about some of the characters in the later books more. As it happens I’m reading the novellas last and I feel regret. I didn’t give a flying duck about Yrene and the other random helpers during the war. Annoying

Finished the series. Now on to the novellas

Chaol x Yrene so boring. Give me strength. Some characters should stay single during the series. Or die.

Tower of Dawn is fav so far

Maas is great at world building. Descriptive work of place is genuinely beautiful. But the main characters are all the same. Surly and arrogant. And they all fall in love the same way. Enemies turned allies turned lovers. Copy and paste. Hopefully a character in one of the main couples die or something. Jazz it up
