Finally reading this for Hispanic Heritage Month and Halloween! 🇲🇽🧙🏻‍♀️

It's amusing to read all the talk about America and American girls!

I'm re-reading this for a book club here. I got my hands on the Norton critical edition as a treat. :) As soon as I started reading, Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble" came on, and that's the novel in a nutshell.

Another read for my metafiction class... it's definitely an interesting topic.

Reading this for my metafiction class. I didn't know much about the author or book before. This was hard to get into at first due to its non-linear structure, but I'm getting into it. There is some wonderful prose here, but it's a challenging modernist novel. I'm used to reading things much older for my classes, so it's surprising to have modern technology such as telephones pop up every now and again.
