Reading this for my metafiction class. I didn't know much about the author or book before. This was hard to get into at first due to its non-linear structure, but I'm getting into it. There is some wonderful prose here, but it's a challenging modernist novel. I'm used to reading things much older for my classes, so it's surprising to have modern technology such as telephones pop up every now and again.
