Something that the characters have said several times in this book is "you can't ask a dead man what he did wrong". I think that it means that you just keep having to try even thought tings in the past have not gone well. In the book people have tried getting out of the maze, but some of them did not comeback into the glade. So even though something has gone wrong, does not mean it is impossible.

The personalty of Thomas is kind of what made the book how it is. If Thomas's curiosity didn't take him into the maze then the book would be different because he really wanted to go into the maze, but no body else did, so he just went in and triggered something that no one else has ever done before. (His fear turned into curiosity, then into boredom.) (297).

The character in my book is very curious with everything. He is the only one that wants to go in to the maze and learn more about what is happening. Most of the other characters where scared and extremely unsure of them selves when they first entered the maze. He was confident right when he enters the maze, his personalty trait is perfect for this book.

I chose this book because I have already seen the movie and really liked the movie. Also I knew that the books are always better then the movies. Also this book has such an exiting summery that I just keep wanting to read it.

If I could change anyone's behavior, it would probably be Julius, because he is a good person, he was just raised to be horrible and deadly. If he had different parents, he would be a different person.

I think that the Julius will eventually find Alex, but if there is another 5 books left in the series, then I think that Alex will survive.

The problem is not really introduced yet in my book. It starts out with going through every charters back story and it takes a long time to get through it all. But, I am guessing that the problem is that all of the "bad guys" want to kill Alex.

The time period was probably a couple of years ago, maybe in 2006 or something like that. I think that the book would be much ore complicated if it was placed in the future because there would be crazy technology, so they could do a lot of things with technology and not have the people do all of the work.

This book makes me think of all of the old fashioned movies that are placed in NewYork, because this book is about two kids trying to find their way through life in New York. They are both def so that makes things a whole lot harder.

I think that Ben makes bad choices because he ran away from the hospital when he still needed treatment. He ran away because he wanted to find his father who lived in New York and all that he knew about him was his first name.

Percy has always wanted to be the child of the prophesy. He has wanted to be the one who saves the world, so basically he just wants the spotlight to be on him.

Percy is pretty smart in this book, so he makes the right choice in a lot of things that he does.

At the end of the last book Percy was offered immorality but he turned it down reviling the characteristic that he worries about others way more then he worries about him self. What he asked for instead of immorality was that every dimi god would be claimed by their parent that is a god.

I have noticed that Percy is a little stronger in every book. In the first book, Percy was pretty wimpy. Now Percy wants to pick a fight with every monster that he sees.I think it is kind of funny how much he changes in the first book to the last book in the series.

THe first book ia already a movie, but it is not that exiting. When I was younger I thought it was, but now that I have actually seen good movies, The lightning thief was not that good.If the movie was exactly like the book, the movie would be another hour and a half long.

The charter with the biggest problem in my book is Annabeth. I think Annabeth because she could have easily stopped the war but she didn't, and now everyone is giving her heat about it.

The setting effect the charters choices alot because all of the enemies are entering the city through all of the bridges and Percy had to make that choice on to guard the bridges or the rest of the city.

If I could tell Percy something I would probably tell him to take the whole group of kids and try to get all of the gods and make them help. Even though most of the gods are trying to stop the giant, at least try to round up the minor gods because they can help alot with fighting Kronos.

My first question would probably be, how do charters in book think of incredible plans to get the bad guys? The answer would probably be is the charters do that because the author trying to explain how smart the charter is.

I don't really like the title the Lightning thief because the title only has to do with the first book. I would maybe name the series The son of Poseidon or something like that because Percy is the main charter in all of the books.

When ever Percy fights some with his sward it reminds me of a song. His sward's name is riptide, so when my book says that word, I immediately start humming the song riptide.

The most exiting part in my book so far has probably been when Percy discovered the giant is coming out of the volcano and it is nearly indestructible.

The only part that I would change in my book would be the part when Percy meets his dad for the third time. When they see each other they don't smile or even give the other one a hug. The just talk about the current events about how the war is going on and how everything is getting so dangerous. I wish that they would talk about how they have been and what they do for hobbies and stuff like that.

if I had anything to ask the author of this book I would ask him how he get the reader to feel like it is happening right in front of you , I also like how he doesn't make it sound like Percy has already been through everything, almost like he a narrating a story that has already happened. One last reason is I really like the way he makes the charters have a total personalty and he explains everyone so well.
