Book box book. The fact that our main character goes through the same damn heist twice in the first three, chapters is already a strike against it.

Book box book that's been on my TBR for a while.

DNF at chapter 6. The author can't stop interrupting the story to insert comprehensive and extensive backstories for every character. I should not be 25% into a novel with only a hint of what the actual plot is. I should not have 4 character biographical infodumps in the first 6 chapters.

Am I supposed to find BOTH leads annoying as hell? Because, currently I'm only here for the cat who shares my cat's name, and Pudding the very sweet lizard.
