Words can’t express how much Clary annoys me lol

FINALLY getting around to Robin Roe’s latest book and I am EATING it UP.

Haven’t felt this emotionally invested in a book in what feels like forever

What am I getting myself into…🫣

Well that’s the longest prologue I have ever read lol

It is going on hold for now. Might DNF, don’t know yet though.

I think this is the closest I will ever get to Six of Crows without it actually being Six of Crows lol

Clary doesn’t get any less annoying lol (It’s been 10 years since I read this I think and I really did forget how annoying she was)

Having the time of my life rereading this after 10 years or so but why is Clary so annoyyyying

Here’s the thing. This book is PROBLEMATIC. There is no denying that and I most definitely DO NOT recommend.
But it comes with me to every psych hospital visit and I was going to go without it this time but still found myself asking my mum to bring it.
I definitely do not agree with many lines in this book.

“Sometimes it feels like I’m a science experiment, like my name is Bipolar Two instead of Lionel.”
Damn that hits hard. I haven’t seen myself in a character like this in a long time.
Will I finish this book or will it finish me? Guess we’ll find out lol

Seems like the hunger games with dinosaurs so far (not complaining hahaha) but the writing isn’t as good. Alas, it seems like it will be a quick, easy, fun read!

This is SO good. Forgot how much I love a good YA contemporary!!!

I have wanted to reread Clean by Juno Dawson for forever and this is only making me want to reread it even more.

This book just included the phrase “What about people who aren’t assigned female at birth?”. I am a cis woman yet this makes me so incredibly happy!!

Enjoying this far more than I thought I would!!
