Susan Lyons is finished with Murder at the Cathedral (Exham on Sea Mysteries #4)
I didn't care for this book, so I didn't finish it. It may be very enjoyable for others.

I enjoy the Longmire books . Craig Johnson creates realistic Native American characters and describes the Wyoming landscape accurately, all while creating stories of value and humor. The TV series based on his books is good, also.

I am enjoying it but it has to be read slowly and carefully to remember all the characters and to know what is happening.

I'm still enjoying it. Re-discovering the list of characters in the front has really helped:)

It's slowing down a little because of all the talk about court protocol and who is on which side, but the descriptions of day to day life in 16th century England continue to fascinate.

Susan Lyons is finished with A Mind to Murder (Adam Dalgliesh, #2)
Actually, I started it while on vacation a few days ago and have finished it. It is an excellent mystery by P.D.James, the true queen of crime. This is a re-read, but enough years have passed that it's a brand new story for me. You might want a dictionary beside you as you read--this author's intellect is top-rate. If you like English murder-mysteries, James can't be beat.

This book is as enjoyable and exciting as the PBS series was. The writing style is unique (the reader is often in the point of view of Thomas Cromwell, but in a kind of third person)--hard to explain but great once the reader gets into the rhythm of it. Wonderful descriptions abound as we follow the maze of court intrigue.

Susan Lyons is 20% done with The Devil in the White City
I can not finish this book. The subject matter is disturbing to me. It is well-written and I have enjoyed other of this author's book, but the doctor in this book is so evil I don't want to read about him.

Susan Lyons is on page 250 of 277 of Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World
It is a heart-warming story about a unique and sensitive cat. Dewey brought new life to the library in Spencer, Iowa, and made an impact on the town and the world, too. I don't know why I always cry in animal stories, but I do. Myron is an expressive writer.
