It's slowing down a little because of all the talk about court protocol and who is on which side, but the descriptions of day to day life in 16th century England continue to fascinate.

This book is as enjoyable and exciting as the PBS series was. The writing style is unique (the reader is often in the point of view of Thomas Cromwell, but in a kind of third person)--hard to explain but great once the reader gets into the rhythm of it. Wonderful descriptions abound as we follow the maze of court intrigue.
