I’m really trying to enjoy this book but. . . How many sex scenes do we need to understand the intensity of the mating bond?!? The last book had steamy scenes an some innuendo about what was happening behind closed doors that was projected in stereo around the ship - fantastic. This book so far has an underdeveloped plot filled in with the same sex scene on repeat.

I love Marnye!!! I love how confidently she carries herself without any shame amongst a bunch of arrogant rich assholes. It’s so refreshing and inspiring. I’m thinking a 4 star rating. If Marnye let’s loose and starts randomly sleeping with the three guys that are terrorize her than I’m dropping to three. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this book ends well.

I’m actually listening to this book - it’s free if you subscribe to Audible escape. First and foremost there is both a female and male narrator. Both narrators or good, but . . . .OMG. . . The male narrator’s voice is enough for me to give this book a 5. I’m liking this book immensely. I believe there are 3 other books in the Fighting Fires series. Can’t wait to finish this one and start the next

Masterful. . . Oh. My. God. I truly love this book. So beautiful, sweet, good, endearing, powerful, passionate, romantic, honorable, and whatever other applicable adjective. I'm afraid to finish because then what. . . Is there a Dragon Souls #3. Thanks Penelope for another good one!! Keep them coming!

This book is incredible!! I was shocked to find that this is a science fiction book with an alien abduction where the aliens are actually a different species. You know all the stories that have a sexy human like alpha male with a few odd characteristics (i.e. Blue Skin, a few less fingers, etc.) Stay tuned. . .
