Ok the Glassworks scene with Demir and Thessa was extremely funny. "Wow what an asshole".

It might be too soon to tell but I'm already impressed by the pacing. We ARE hitting three different POVs though. :/

Listening to the audio book and I don't really like the character voices the narrator chooses to do. The plot itself is interesting so far, but not really groundbreaking in terms of a retelling of romeo and juliet. But I am enjoying myself so far despite it. :0

I'm just here for a good time not a great time.

I fell asleep thinking I got to the end but I woke up and checked and??? What more????? Can they wrap up?!

I am nearing the end but I have these main thoughts:
- overall plot is easy to understand. Arranged marriage. Impending war. The feelings are there.
- the details? Baffling. Incomprehensible. This felt like reading a spinoff of a main show I never watched. Lore dumping by the tons.
- god please get this book an editor
- awful unfun miscommunication tropes
- BUT?? SOMEHOW? I WAS INTRIGUED ALL THE WAY?? Ok.
