My favorite book that I've read this year was "Since You've Been Gone". This book was my favorite because it was funny, but also really cute and sweet. Emily was a fun character to follow along the story, and I loved her character. I also loved the connection between her and Frank, and shipped them from the beginning. Finally, I loved the reunion between Sloane and Emily at the end. It's a story worth reading.

Alexia is finished with The Hidden Oracle (The Trials of Apollo, #1)
The characters in the book are similar to the characters in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. They are similar because in both there is a tight group of characters, bound together by the first time they enter a new world. They both are loyal and smart, though some characters are egotistical. There are characters who have to deal with evil parents. They are close because they have a lot of traits in common.

If I could interview any character from this book, I would interview Meg. I would ask her why she turned against Apollo and the rest of the campers, even if it was because her stepfather was evil. She would reply that he cared for her after her real father died. I still wouldn't completely comprehend why she did it. I'm surprised she would do that to Camp Half-Blood, because it seemed like camp made her feel at home.

However, she also becomes queen as her mother gets ill and her father wants to retire. She goes through a lot and ends up with a happy ending, as she deserved.

Alexia is finished with The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey (The Mysterious Benedict Society, #2)
Constance developed a lot over the course of the story. She became more mature, and using her skills a lot better. She starts off as a whiny young child, who's very afraid and nervous for Mr. Benedict. Then, she starts using her prediction skills to predict patterns in clues and the Ten Men's ideas to try and beat Mr. Curtain and find Mr. Benedict. Traveling with the Society has made her grow up a lot more.

Alexia is finished with The Mysterious Benedict Society (The Mysterious Benedict Society, #1)
I'm reading this book series currently. It's about four gifted kids who have to work together to save the world from a very evil man. The man's twin brother happens to be their leader, Mr. Benedict. This is compelling because it's a very sweet and adventurous story. Reading this book shows I'm reading harder books because it's a long book, whereas other books I was reading were shorter. It goes more into depth, too.

I would want to be a character in the story because it's a really cool world, minus the part where people get voted by the government to die. I would love to go from a dull world and suddenly see everything from a much brighter perspective. I would create my own character because I'd want to combine everything I like about the others to make one exciting new character. I think it would be fun and a good experience.

Alexia is finished with The Abduction (Theodore Boone, #2)
April is an 8th grade girl who comes from a broken family. She's the only "normal" person left, as her old siblings left the family as soon as they could. She's an artist, with more of a wandering mind and straight B's in school, although she tries. She's very creative. She doesn't have to worry about curfew, as her parents are never home, but she does what she can to be normal. She's antisocial. She's different.

Alexia is finished with The School for Good and Evil (The School for Good and Evil, #1)
I think the author wrote this because he wanted his audience to know that not everyone is as they appear. Sophie looks Good, feels Good, but she isn't Good on the inside. Agatha, on the other hand, looks Evil, but has a Good soul. I think the author wrote this for about eleven to fourteen-year-olds. He meant for young people to know that some people aren't as they look, so they are open to this being true.

I can relate to Alex because she is troubled and isn't always believed. Everyone gets mad at her because she's misunderstood. When I say something and my parents misunderstand me, they always get mad at me and never admit their mistake. I'm always the person that's wrong, like Alex. Alex is a smart, interesting person that likes to read a lot is very misunderstood. People are a lot like her and get her.

If I could interview anyone, I would probably interview Madison. I would ask her how she felt during the story. She would probablyy say that she was upset, ecstatic, and over the moon. I would also ask for a more detailed story of her childhood. Madison wouldn't be too happy to answer that, but she would anyway. Finally, I would ask her about her relationship with Jared. She'd say their plans for the future.

If Ron were the narrator, the story would be different. Since Ron wasn't even there a lot of the time, there would be completely different parts to the story. At the end, on platform 9 3/4, he would be saying something about having his eldest child leaving to Hogwarts, and what house she would be sorted in. He would also be thinking about his family, and all the friends that are with their families, sending off kids.

Alexia is finished with Since You've Been Gone
The best parts of this book are when Emily finally realizes she's fallen in love with Frank Porter and when they travel together to find Sloane. These parts are my favorite because I really love romance in a story, Frank and Emily were my favorite characters, and those moments are sweet. I also like these moments because I know that Frank really liked Emily, and vice versa. I really thought they belonged together.

This week, I read this book. It's about a girl named Heart LaCoeur. She gets two invitations to prom from two very different people. One of them is a gay theater geek, and the other is a senior that just got dumped. She spends the whole night flipping back between both dates. In the end, she finds that love is unexpected.

Alexia is finished with All In (The Naturals, #3)
I think it would be cool to be a character in this series. It's awesome how all the characters can tell things just by looking at or hearing strangers. However, these kids went through so much to get these abilities, and I wouldn't want to go through that. The relationship between the Naturals is so heartfelt and sweet, and I would love to be inside one of their heads.

I'm at the resolution of the book since I've finished it. In the beginning, this book is about realizing your true strengths and going for what you want. The conflict is that Katia , Lizzie's mom, doesn't want Lizzie to do modeling. Lizzie goes for it and becomes a famous model. At the same time, a boy she likes is falling for someone else. The resolution is that Lizzie and her friends realize what life is all about.

I really enjoyed this book because it was bittersweet, with a happy ending. I give this book a 9 because it was really good and sweet, and although I wanted it to have a bit more action, it was still a great read. I would recommend it to my sister and my friends because it's appropriate and I know they would like it.

If I were the author of this book, I would make it less confusing. I enjoyed the beginning of this book because the characters were sweet and it was a good story. Then, everything just became strange. Preston suddenly became evil. The story was very complicated and weird. I would have made it simple and straightforward. It would have been a much better read.

I think the writer's purpose was to show a world that doesn't have anything we do. No technology, no freedom, no happiness, and no people. The author wanted to inform us of our luck about everything we have. Anna Carey was showing us that not everyone is lucky, and and sometimes we are deceived.

I can relate to Eadlyn because she is the oldest child in family, funny, and smart. Although she seems annoying and only caring about her appearance, she still cares about her family. They mean the world to her, so when her brother leaves, she is devastated. This makes her relatable. Eadlyn is very loving and caring behind a tough surface. That's like me.

I chose to read this book because my friend recommended it to me. She said it was a very humorous and entertaining book. This book was pretty good, but it wasn't my favorite. It has a nice storyline, and is really cute and sweet, but it seemed a little long. It felt like the author had an empty space and chose to fill it up with random words. Overall, I felt like it was average.
