April is an 8th grade girl who comes from a broken family. She's the only "normal" person left, as her old siblings left the family as soon as they could. She's an artist, with more of a wandering mind and straight B's in school, although she tries. She's very creative. She doesn't have to worry about curfew, as her parents are never home, but she does what she can to be normal. She's antisocial. She's different.
