I can't believe it's taken me just over two months to finish City of Glass - I really enjoyed it, but reading droughts are terrible and I got one halfway through. By the time I picked it up again I had so much to do that there wasn't much time for reading. Hopefully back on track now!

I think I might be back on track after the longest reading drought EVER! I’ve had so many dislocations, hospital stays, and really strong meds that I haven’t really been able to focus on anything properly. I’m raising money for shoulder surgery at j.mp/gdsurgery and any share or donation would be really appreciated. Without all the strong drugs and awful pain I’ll be able to read at my usual speed again! ☺

Finally started on City of Ashes for the Shadowhunters read-along. I'm about a week and a half behind but hopefully will catch up. Anyone else here doing the read-along?

Do you ever read a scene that's so intense that you actually stop breathing the whole time without even noticing? Because that just happened to me. And when I realised that I hadn't been breathing, I had to let all the pent up breath and energy out by just saying "ohmygodohmygodohmygod" over and over again. That was a damn good scene with a bloody brilliant book to match. Can't wait to see what's left of it!!

If you're a fan of videogames, comics, and 80s/90s films, this book is perfect for you. I'm loving it so far!

Finally have 2 weeks off from uni. Time for some serious reading!
