Book ends at 85% with an open ending. I feel even worse about it. It was a short book to begin with and now it's even smaller.
Also there is another mm scene.
Yet there was only one sex scene that involves her, the main heroine.
I like the plot but this is ridiculous.

I'm disappointed, probably not going to read the next book. The book is short but what I have a serious problem is the heavy mm action between the fox and the dragon. I did not sign up for this. And I'm only going to finish this book and be done with this series.

I'm digging this book, I usually don't like reading stories from the point of non-humans but this girl's experiences made me feel included and able to have that new thing same as her.
Ciar is interesting, he is deadly and psychotic which is great. I can't wait to meet the other guys.

I'm a bit bored, Bastion is cool. But things are sooooo slow to move.

It seems that the book tried to pick up some pace, there was a sex scene already and we get some explanation of the inner workings of the shifters and their enemies. I'm still not interested though. At this point I just want it to finish.

I'm on the third book and I'm pretty sure I will not continue.
6 people all in relationships with one another. This is not reverse harem. It's a poly mmmmmf relationship. I can't do this to me anymore despite how much I want to know what happens. I do not enjoy the relationship building between the males like Luce and Ron. I do not appreciate Bel kissing Ron. I don't want Luce fucking Nick.

Just finished the second book. Ron is in. Is it bad that I didn't like him hooking up with Luce?
The whole open thing in the legion pisses me off. I'm aware that's my problem. I should have known better with this author. The story is great, and the detail put into creating the worlds is phenomenal but my heart can't take all this male on male action, love interests and history.

The demon situation is so confusing.
Luce and Ron romance is killing slowly...
I'm in hell, there so much male to male action, history like
Luce and Nick sharing a wife,
Nick and Sam being in a relationship for millennia,
Luce and Bel had a thing

I finished the first book. It has very interesting world-building, the heroine is not too whiny. The guys all seem cute. Too bad the sex is with only one of them but I can see how it builds up.

I think 40 % is way too much introduction to the story. I got tired of the narrative and that sect way before I got any reason to like the plot.
I will try to finish it but I'm actually dreading wasting my time anymore.

She has finally bagged all of the boys.

What a one-dimensional father figure. Those kinds of parental figures keep happening in the books of this author.

Isn't it too cheesy to mention Tate James? and liking reverse harem?

Who does she think she is? Rambo? What an amazingly stupid character.

She is such a shitty person. Why did she have to be so dam annoying that why was the pivotal part of the character?

The guys sure missed her. I wonder who is the Traitor. That guy Nevin is so suspicious yet kept being overlooked. Hm...

So Michael is not a love interest just a helplessly in love angel?

They are out and that was one extremely sexy group scene. I'm glad she is not human and her endurance is so much higher or otherwise after one scene like this and she'd be out of commission.

She dies only to come back again as a reborn immortal angel. And poor Creek was next to permanently dead and she had to decide whether to make him immortal or let him die for real.

Finally, there is some sex.

I'm already sick of Hope and her stupidity.

Still no consummation of the bond between mates. She is worried for her kidnapped mate, she knows he is being tortured so each day he is not rescued is making her extra frustrated and afraid.

It sure brings memories, I read and obsessed about the other books over 13 years ago. I have long passed the school books from then and need a heavy dose of smut to make the reading worth it.
All the over analyzing Edward does do gets on my nerves. I hope I finish the book at some point.

There are some forced sexual situations. The plot is not one that captures my attention but I do no to have this book as a did not read. The only interesting thing about the mc is her shadow that is probably demon born.

I liked the author's other book so I decided to give this one a chance but the characters are just not doing it for me. The "brotherhood" is especially obnoxious in their mansplaining and downplaying her powers. I don't know if I'm going to survive much longer.

So she loses her children to the new air born virus, then gets raped by her father's friends, then they kill her husband by letting him get eaten by the aphids. Then finds a dog, goes to an army base, gets cornered by 5 men eager to rape her. Kills them. Leeves and goes far away to a forest where she finds 4 native Americans, spends 1 year with them. Likes a guy, Jesse, but he never gets close enough. Leaves them.

Totally not hooked, can't wait to finish so this torture ends.

I'm still waiting to be hooked.
