I hate it when I start a new book & my brain just can’t take anything I read in. 17 pages in & I’ve read most of them at least two times.

Bedtime!

My first night as River & I have managed to kill her ELEVEN times.

This is my first time reading a Choose Your Destiny / Future / etc. book & I am clearly not very good at it!

Should keep me entertained for a while though.

Loving it! Really hard to put down & I could easily read it in one sitting — if I wasn’t so tired & if it wasn’t 02:30. Love the humour, but also the clear underlying promise of darker memories being upon the horizon.

Desperately don’t want to put this down but it’s 2AM & I’m so tired my head keeps dropping down & my eyes keep crossing.

Juliet’s work, as always, is fantastic.

It’s been ages since I’ve read (or listened) to a Doctor Who story & Catherine narration is just brilliant.

Really enjoyed Chapter Four: Mother — interesting observations about more than just trans women & men becoming parents (or, not), including looking at why motherhood isn’t necessarily a good thing to experience, despite so many (cis & trans) women yearning for the experience. Lots of food for thought about my own permanent desire to have children, despite being very aware of the “cons” of having them.
