The first half of the book was a little slow for me but I’m really enjoying it now; it’s brilliantly written & I cannot even begin to imagine the amount of research that went into writing it.

Chapter 37

There’s so much background detail in this that isn’t necessarily about Hedy but is needed to understand how she achieved what she did, & I seem to be loving every detail — even the scientific bits I don’t entirely understand! Clearly my brain has missed learning.

It may have gone 02:30 but I really don’t want to put this book down! Alas, my eyes won’t cooperate with the words on the pages anymore so I have no choice but to just dream about this story, rather than actually reading it. Ho hum.

Have I said how brilliant this book is yet? Because it’s truly fantastic.
