C. J. is on page 50 of 297 of The Climb: Tragic Ambitions on Everest
Right from chapter one, the author is opening the scene for a play in which he alone is the star act and his co-author, the cheering one-man audience egging him on.

C. J. is on page 109 of 520 of Isabella: The Warrior Queen
The author focuses a lot on the history surrounding Isabella's time, but is slow-going on actually getting to HER history.

In this chapter the relationship between Layla and Aaron really starts to grow roots. This is so far the longest chapter, 31 pages.

Ran through To chapter 2 of Orphans, Assassins, and the Existential Eggplant by J.T. Gillett. I'll have two chapter reviews up tomorrow, but I have to say, this book is downright amazing in its sheer originality.

C. J. is on page 14 of 520 of Isabella: The Warrior Queen
Around page ten in chapter one, the author goes into the influence Greek culture had on the Spanish territories and the ancestral ties it has to Rome, however, as she continues she flies off into a complete history lesson. For the next 15 pages, (and rest of the chapter), Let it be said however, that while excessive, it was entertaining and well written.

C. J. is 16% done with Rome's Revolution: Death of the Republic and Birth of the Empire
Working on my review for this book, I currently have mixed feelings, but that is due to technical details within the writing structure. The book itself is rather interesting and presents a refreshing look at the subject.

C. J. is 10% done with Stargazers: Galileo, Copernicus, the Telescope and the Church
Hmm. There seems to be a lot of repetition here.
